The Phoenix Police Department, one of the largest U.S. law enforcement agencies with approximately 2,400 officers, has adopted ASP Sentry Chain Handcuffs as its standard-issue restraints. Officer Shane Merwin and the defensive tactics division evaluated the restraints, which were approved by Chief Matt Giordano. Armament Systems and Procedures worked with Precision Uniforms to support the implementation.
