Celebrate Family, Gun and the Outdoors at the 2024 Buckmasters Expo

While the weather might not scream “Fall,” The Buckmasters Expo in Montgomery is a clear sign that hunting seasons are on the horizon. Presented by Mountain Dew, this year’s event is scheduled for Aug. 16, 17 and 18th.

The Expo is geared toward family and hunting enthusiasts, admission is as simple as a can of food (or a $1 donation) to benefit the Friendship Mission and Salvation Army. Thanks to the support of local and national sponsors, Buckmasters can continue to offer this affordable tradition for 31 years now.

With show hours 3-8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, attendees will have ample time to explore over 300 vendor booths offering a full range of hunting products that you can see, touch, and feel before you buy.

The Expo is packed with entertainment from outdoors celebrities, the Top Bow Indoor Archery Tournament, and for the first time Swifty Swine's amazing pig racing. The Harriott II Riverboat will offer free rides on the Alabama River on Saturday and Sunday.

Returning for the third year is the Bulls & Buckmasters professional bull riding show on Friday and Saturday nights guarantees excitement, with free admission and additional entertainment before and after the event. Friday hours are 8-10 p.m.; Saturday is 7-9 p.m.

Don’t miss the chance to have your trophy buck put on display in the Buckmasters Trophy Records antler scoring area, where hunters can bring their deer racks to be measured free of charge by BTR master scorers.

There will be special guests all weekend, including Robert Arrington of “Deer Meat for Dinner,” the suburban hunters from Seek One, social media sensation Aly from Alabama, and the Bama Grill Master Tim Van Doren!

The Buckmasters Expo is sponsored by The US Army, Alabama Power, Wind Creek Casino & Hotel-Montgomery, Riverside Chevrolet, Capitol Tractor, and AG Credit. Special thanks to the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, and the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.
