NRA Seeks Passionate Field Representative in Alaska

The National Rifle Association (NRA) is excited to announce an opening for a Field Representative in Alaska. This pivotal role is designed for an enthusiastic individual committed to promoting the Friends of NRA’s mission through volunteer management and community engagement.

The Field Representative will spearhead Friends of NRA fundraising activities, including banquets, special events, and raffles, aimed at achieving annual fundraising goals. This position will also promote the NRA Foundation grant program, ensuring compliance with all operational and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Organizing and managing successful fundraising events.
  • Leading and training Friends of NRA volunteers and committee officers.
  • Maintaining accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
  • Coordinating the distribution of state Foundation grant applications.
  • Recruiting and retaining new volunteers to drive community engagement.
  • Acting as a liaison between the NRA and local organizations.

This role offers high visibility and interaction with NRA volunteers, board members, and staff. Candidates should possess strong leadership, organizational, and public speaking skills, along with a background in business management and fundraising. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with a solid understanding of shooting sports.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and be prepared for frequent travel, extended hours, and the physical demands of the role.
