Upcoming changes to the 2020 Striped Bass regulations have caused some confusion. In order to clarify, below are the striped bass regulations for the remainder of 2019:
Daily harvest per individual:
• 1 fish @ 28” to less than 43” and
• 1 fish @ 43” or greater
Daily harvest per individual with a Striped Bass Bonus Permit:
• 1 fish @ 24” to less than 28”
• The permit must be secured through the gills and mouth of the fish immediately upon harvest.
• The harvest must be reported within 24 hours.
Fishing for Striped Bass beyond 3 miles from shore is closed.
