Eight years after the launch of the original FLUX for Glock™, FLUX Defense is returning to where it all started with the FLUX Redux, a completely reworked platform designed for Gen 4 and Gen 5 Glock™ G17, G17L, G19X, G22, G34, G35, G46, and G47 pistols.
As FLUX returns to the Glock platform, the team saw an opportunity to revisit and remaster a classic. Rather than simply bringing back the original, FLUX applied nearly a decade of experience in design, manufacturing, and product development to reimagine the system that started it all.
Introducing the FLUX Redux - a modern evolution of the original platform, featuring upgraded materials, improved ergonomics, a deeper and more secure interface with the pistol, smoother magazine release operation, and a spring-loaded brace/stock system designed for rapid deployment while maintaining a compact overall footprint.
"Redux is about going back to the original idea with all that we have learned," said FLUX Defense. "We looked at every interface, every material, and every interaction with the platform and asked how we could make it better."
Modularity remains a fundamental part of the FLUX design philosophy. While FLUX has evolved toward more integrated systems, Redux retains the original two-piece architecture, allowing the Flashmag and brace/stock to function independently or together. This approach also provides additional configuration flexibility for customers in states where certain integrated systems are restricted. By preserving the modular design, FLUX aims to make the Redux platform accessible to a broader range of customers while allowing them to configure their systems according to applicable laws.

Redux also introduces an all-new shroud system designed to accommodate ported and compensated pistol configurations. The new aluminum shroud incorporates ambi thumb ledges providing an additional ergonomic contact point for improved comfort and control for right and left handed shooters. The shroud is removable for use with suppressors, and enables future capability upgrades.
The Redux retains the integrated spare-magazine concept but now with the superior patented release button while further refining the system around modern manufacturing and materials. Precision injection-molded polymer components provide a balance of strength, durability, and reduced weight, while additional clearance is designed to accommodate many common pistol suppressors.
