Retail business up 40 percent going into Q4, buoyed by success of new REVEAL 4.0 Cellular Trail Camera line
BILLINGS, Montana – Tactacam, a leader in cellular trail and security camera technology, is reporting substantial growth across their expansive retail footprint heading into Quarter 4 of 2026. The manufacturer — which includes the REVEAL brand of cellular trail cameras and DEFEND brand of cellular security cameras — is reporting a 40-percent increase in retail business with a 36-percent increase in new dealer applications for both the REVEAL and DEFEND brands.
The jump in retail growth is attributed in part to the highly successful launch of Tactacam REVEAL's new 4.0 Cellular Trail Camera line in July 2026. The launch disrupted the trail camera market with unprecedented innovations in trail camera image quality and battery life, translating to a major boon in sales for the brand's retail partners.
On the DEFEND side, the brand continues to enhance the cellular security camera platform, introducing new AI-powered detection in August 2026 as well as object tracking, multi-camera monitoring, two-way communication and security features designed to give businesses and property owners greater visibility across remote locations. The DEFEND 360 Camera's growing popularity for providing surveillance beyond the ring of WiFi has opened doors for farm, ranch, home, marine, and firearms dealers across the country.
Tactacam currently has 45 national retail partners in addition to its network of 1,700 local store partners, as well as a robust online presence.
