Integrations give hunters 360-degree cellular camera coverage alongside REVEAL cameras in the REVEAL Mobile App
BILLINGS, Montana – Tactacam, a leader in cellular trail and security camera technology, has made their popular DEFEND 360 Cellular Camera available in the REVEAL Mobile Application platform, expanding the performance of in-field coverage and remote monitoring for hunters.
Both DEFEND and REVEAL cellular cameras record and transmit HD photo and video through cellular service, giving customers expansive options to monitor from their smartphone or computer. While the DEFEND platform is built for remote property security beyond the reach of WiFi, the DEFEND 360 Cellular Camera proves highly effective at giving hunters an enhanced view into their hunting grounds. The REVEAL app integration enables hunters to take advantage of all the features of the DEFEND 360 Camera and manage the camera alongside REVEAL trail cameras in the REVEAL app, opening up an array of new functionality through the security camera's increased field of view, AI object detection, and many more features designed for robust surveillance.
In keeping with Tactacam's commitment to anticipating and delivering on consumer demands, the company worked across brands to bring the DEFEND 360 experience to REVEAL.
"We saw hunters using DEFEND 360 to monitor food plots, feeders and other open areas, taking advantage of pan, tilt, zoom and Live View to get a broader view of what's happening in the field," said Jack Westerheide, DEFEND Brand Director. Now, the advanced performance of the DEFEND 360 Camera can be utilized within the REVEAL app's hunter-centric experience. Through the REVEAL app, users can access Hunt Radar to monitor statistics like historical and current wind direction and moon phases. REVEAL also features powerful mapping tools, aggregates dependable deer movement predictions, allows users to share cameras and more, all in one app. The REVEAL app also features integration with the new REVEAL Wind Sensor, which provides real-time, location-specific wind data to give hunters invaluable information for stand placement, hunt timing and much more.
The DEFEND 360 Camera offers several new enhanced features as of summer 2026. Live View recording technology allows users to record "Live View" video sessions and will save the recording to a phone's camera roll. A new 2-Way Audio function — available for DEFEND 360 cameras only — gives users the ability to directly communicate from the DEFEND mobile application to a speaker on the camera when using Live View.
DEFEND 360 cameras also now feature AI Object Tracking, which automatically follows the movements of humans, animals and vehicles when the feature is turned on. The tracked movement is recorded via video, and the video can be downloaded within the mobile app for viewing. Once the tracked video finishes recording, the DEFEND 360 camera automatically returns to the start point to monitor for more motion alerts.
The DEFEND 360 REVEAL integration joins the brand's 2026 launch of the groundbreaking REVEAL 4.0 platform, which drastically improved trail camera battery life and image quality.
