The company, led by founder and CEO Brandon Maddox, made its first $25,000 contribution in February. The 2026 gift total now matches the $50,000 Silencer Central contributed during the 2024 election cycle.
Protect Liberty PAC is a federally registered super PAC founded in 2023 by NSSF. It is an independent-expenditure-only political committee dedicated to electing candidates who will preserve and protect liberty, freedom and the constitutional rights of all Americans, especially the Second Amendment.
"In February I said it was not too early to make a statement about where our priorities are. Today I'm saying it is not too late," said Maddox. "Just like NSSF has delivered for our industry, Protect Liberty PAC has as well, and matching what we gave in 2024 was an easy decision. If gun control allies flip Congress in November, they will come after our rights and our industry with everything they have. I'm proud to double down, and I urge every gun owner and every colleague in this industry to do the same while there is still time."
This contribution is the latest example of Silencer Central and NSSF working together to advocate for American firearm and suppressor owners. Earlier this year, Maddox testified alongside NSSF at the South Dakota State Capitol in favor of suppressor deregulation; after the bill passed unanimously, Gov. Larry Rhoden signed it into law at Silencer Central's Sioux Falls headquarters.
