Lodestar Technology Expands LNK9 Lineup with New Optics Ready Options

Lodestar Technology today announced the expansion of its LNK9 lineup with three new optics configurations, giving firearm owners additional options to customize the platform to their individual preferences.

The new LNK9 configurations are now available with a 2 MOA Green Dot, 2 MOA Red Dot or 2 MOA Gold Dot reticle. The expanded lineup provides customers with greater choice in sight picture while maintaining the features, performance and secure-access technology at the core of the LNK9 platform.

"The LNK9 was designed around the idea that firearm owners should have greater control over how they access and configure their firearm," said Shawn Campbell, CEO of Lodestar Technology. "Adding these new optics options is a natural extension of that philosophy. Whether a customer prefers a red, green or gold reticle, they can choose the configuration that works best for them without changing the experience and technology that define the LNK9."

Built on the LNK9 Platform

The LNK9 is a semi-automatic 9mm firearm developed by firearms industry veterans and built around Lodestar's secure-access technology. The platform provides authorized users the option of biometric or PIN pad access, with user management available through the Lodestar mobile app.

The LNK9 features a 4.02-inch barrel, polymer composite frame, compact slide with a full-size frame, 17-round or 10-round magazine capacity, MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rail, reversible magazine release, InfoLights™ status indicators and an inductive charging system.

Lodestar's technology is designed to keep access in the hands of the firearm owner. Biometric credentials are stored locally on the firearm, allowing the LNK9's core authentication functionality to operate without reliance on the cloud or an outside network.

"For us, innovation has to serve a practical purpose," Campbell said. "Our focus is giving responsible firearm owners another layer of control over unauthorized access while preserving the familiarity and functionality they expect from their firearm. We're especially proud to be building that technology here in Chattanooga and continuing to grow Lodestar from our home in Tennessee."

The new 2 MOA Green Dot, 2 MOA Red Dot and 2 MOA Gold Dot LNK9 configurations will be available through authorized FFL dealers, distributors, and via the Lodestar website for direct to consumer at an MSRP of $1,865.
