Federal Ammunition has expanded its Fusion and American Eagle rifle product line by adding 22 Creedmoor loads. The Fusion bullet option is a 75-grain bonded Soft Point, and the American Eagle bullet is a 75-grain Total Metal Jacket (TMJ). Both tout a muzzle velocity of a blistering 3,300 feet-per-second (fps). These new loads are currently being delivered to dealers nationwide.

"The screaming 22 Creedmoor can push heavier 22-caliber bullets more than 3,000 fps for flat trajectories, long-range accuracy, and hard-hitting power on coyotes and other predators," said Josh Vickers, Federal's Centerfire Rifle Ammunition Product Manager. "To help shooters get the most from 22 Creedmoor, Federal is offering the high-velocity cartridge in a 75-grain American Eagle TMJ that's perfect for the range and a 75-grain Fusion that gives hunters the terminal performance they need."
Fusion rifle ammunition offers the largest expansion and highest weight retention in head-to-head comparisons against the competition. With a molecularly bonded jacket and a pressure-formed core, Fusion transfers maximum energy on target. Its copper jacket is electro-chemically bonded to the core, resulting in a perfectly uniform jacket. Its skived, pre-programmed nose provides consistent expansion. Fusion is well-known for excellent accuracy and maximum weight retention for deep penetration.
American Eagle rifle ammunition offers consistent, accurate, affordable performance. The loads feature quality bullets, reloadable brass cases and dependable primers. American Eagle rifle loads are ideal for target practice.
Both 22 Creedmoor rifle loads are sold in 20-round boxes and are coming soon in an 80-grain Sierra Tipped MatchKing for shooters who compete.
