Appleton, WI — Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP), a leading manufacturer of law enforcement equipment, presented its 2026 Premier Partner Awards during the company's "IMPACT Week" in September. This year's recipients are Galls (USA), Antero Lopes (Portugal) and ASCiM (Turkey). ASP also presented its first-ever Subject Matter Expert Award to Chris Patzer of Handcuff Warehouse.
The Premier Partner Award recognizes distributors who distinguish themselves through planning, effort, execution and results in marketing and supporting the ASP brand. "We are fortunate to have outstanding distributor relationships, and many have contributed to our dramatic growth in recent years," said ASP Vice President of Marketing Michael Hess. "But unlike many companies, we don't simply measure by sales. As the name suggests, these awards recognize holistic partnership, and we heavily weight overall effort."
Galls, a major public safety supplier and longtime ASP distributor, received its second Premier Partner Award in three years. The two companies' senior sales teams meet monthly, while leadership, marketing, planning and procurement teams meet quarterly to coordinate programs and opportunities. Galls has also become a key distribution sponsor of ASP's free law enforcement training programs nationwide.
Antero Lopes, ASP's distributor in Portugal for more than two decades, was recognized following another major national contract win. The company recently secured the Portuguese National Police and Gendarmerie baton contract for the second consecutive time, supplying these agencies with 16,000 ASP batons and scabbards.
ASCiM, which has served Turkey's military, police and outdoor sporting markets for more than 25 years, was honored for its continued success building the ASP brand with major government customers. ASCiM recently secured a major contract with the Turkish Gendarmerie, which has purchased more than 60,000 ASP Sentry Handcuffs to date.
ASP also introduced a new Subject Matter Expert Award, recognizing exceptional product and industry knowledge. Its inaugural recipient, Chris Patzer, is founder and owner of Handcuff Warehouse. ASP says that Patzer and his team have developed a reputation among law enforcement customers for comprehensive restraint expertise, product knowledge and customer service.
"Each of these recipients represents a different kind of partnership," Hess said. "What they have in common is commitment—to their customers, to the ASP brand, and to doing the work necessary to achieve exceptional results."
