Catalyst Arms has released the Apex Bag Rider 2.0, an upgraded rear stock accessory designed specifically for the Gen 1 – Gen 3 Ruger Precision Rifle (short-action and magnum-action models). The new design features a sleeker overall profile and a refined angle at the rear of the bag rider for smoother, more controlled elevation adjustments when sliding the support bag toward the muzzle.
The Apex Bag Rider 2.0 improves shooting position stability and enables rapid elevation changes. It is wider than the factory bottom Picatinny rail, creating a more stable rest on bags, packs, or the support hand so the rifle stays steady during the shot. The angled surface allows shooters to raise or lower the buttstock simply by sliding the rear bag forward or aft. This lets the stock rest fully on the bag rather than relying on uneven grip pressure to hold position.
