GREAT FALLS - Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking help from the public to locate a hybridized female rocky mountain bighorn sheep that went missing from a private alternative livestock facility near Vaughn in early September. The bighorn ewe is described as weighing about 120 pounds and is primarily white in color with a red ear tag.
Wildlife officials are concerned that the animal could move into areas where it may come into contact with wild bighorn sheep and spread disease or pathogens into those herds.
