Accokeek, MD – Last week, Beretta celebrated 500 years of history in its birthplace of Gardone Val Trompia, Italy. This milestone provided an opportunity to celebrate the people who have helped carry that legacy forward, as more of Beretta USA's longest-tenured employees traveled to Italy for a special experience recognizing their dedications and contributions to the company.
Representing 20 to 46 years of service, the tenured employees were brought together from across Beretta USA to experience Beretta's heritage and celebrate their own place in the company's history. Several began their careers at the company's Accokeek, Maryland, facility and later relocated to Gallatin, Tennessee, helping build Beretta's U.S. manufacturing operation and witnessing the company's evolution firsthand. The group also included two employees who each spent more than four decades with Beretta, marking 45 and 46 years of service. Their careers represent nearly five decades of Beretta USA history and an extraordinary level of commitment to the company.
"Beretta's 500-year history is extraordinary, but our legacy is ultimately built by people," said Cristian Capelli, Beretta USA's General Manager. "These employees have dedicated decades of their lives to Beretta. They have seen our company evolve, taken on new challenges, adapted to change and helped shape the Beretta USA we know today. This trip was our opportunity to recognize them and say thank you for everything they have contributed."
During their time in Italy, employees experienced Beretta's heritage firsthand, including a celebration event for all Beretta employees where they were recognized and awarded for their years of service, allowing them to celebrate alongside colleagues who have shared their Beretta journey.
The experience brought together Beretta' past, present and future celebrating 500 years of heritage while recognizing the employees whose dedication and contributions continue to an important part of the Beretta story.
