The Mule Deer and Blacktail Deer Foundation Look to Hire a Regional Director for Washington State

The Mule Deer and Blacktail Deer Foundation is the only national conservation organization in North America solely dedicated to the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer, and their habitats. MDF is seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial leader to serve as a Regional Director in Washington state. This is an opportunity to grow fundraising revenue, build thriving volunteer chapters, expand membership, and help conserve mule deer, black-tailed deer, and the habitats they depend on.

Regional Directors play a vital role in generating support for wildlife conservation while inspiring volunteers, strengthening communities, growing membership, and building partnerships that leave a lasting conservation legacy. The Regional Director serves as the Foundations' primary field representative and is responsible for fundraising and revenue development within an assigned territory. This includes fundraising events, membership sales, sponsorships, donor development, corporate partnerships, and other revenue-generating opportunities.

This remote-based, field-focused position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with members, sponsors, donors, businesses, volunteers, and community partners, as well as conduct fundraising, membership, and outreach activities away from the Foundations' business offices.

MDF offers medical, dental, and vision insurance; retirement benefits with employer contributions; paid holidays and paid time off; reimbursement for approved business travel expenses; and a flexible, remote work environment.

To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, salary requirements, and three professional references in a single PDF document to lana@muledeer.org with the subject line "Washington Regional Director."
