Dedicated .22 LR platforms combine purpose-built rimfire operation, One Horse lowers and the Atrius Forced Reset Selector
One Horse today announced the Express 22 Rifle and Express 22 Pistol, two new dedicated .22 LR firearms that will make their public debut at Gun Owners of America's 2026 Gun Owners Advocacy and Leadership Summit, known as GOALS, Aug. 1-2 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Express 22 Pistol features a 12.1-inch barrel, while the Express 22 Rifle features a 16.1-inch barrel.
Both models feature a dedicated .22 LR operating system, a One Horse lower receiver and Atrius Development Group's Forced Reset Selector, or FRS.
Unlike a conversion system operating through a centerfire barrel, the Express 22 Rifle and Express 22 Pistol use dedicated operating systems built specifically around the .22 LR cartridge. A rimfire-specific interface allows the dedicated bolt system to work with the three-position FRS.
Each model is built on a serialized One Horse lower receiver and includes One Horse-selected internal lower components, with the Atrius FRS serving as the exception. The resulting platforms combine familiar AR-pattern controls, dedicated rimfire operation and Atrius' selector technology in complete, factory-configured firearms.

The Express 22 Rifle and Express 22 Pistol bring a dedicated .22 LR system and the Atrius FRS together in complete firearms that are familiar, purpose-built and true to our Built to Run standard."
Both models are equipped with the THRiL RTG Grip. The RTG features a 19.5-degree grip angle and four laser-textured panels designed to provide a secure, natural interface in a range of conditions.
The Express 22 Rifle is equipped with the THRiL CCS Combat Competition Stock, which features a flush anti-snag adjustment latch, dual quick-detach sling mounts and a textured buttpad.
The Express 22 Pistol is equipped with a pistol stabilizing brace. The five-position adjustable brace features reinforced polymer construction, an ambidextrous quick-detach sling socket.
The Express 22 Rifle and Express 22 Pistol add dedicated rimfire options to the One Horse lineup while maintaining the familiar controls and handling characteristics of an AR-pattern firearm. Both platforms are purpose-built for training, recreational shooting and high-volume range use.
GOALS attendees will have the first opportunity to see the Express 22 Rifle and Express 22 Pistol at One Horse Booth 3142.
GOALS will be held Aug. 1-2 at the Iowa Events Center, 730 Third St., Des Moines.
At launch, the initial Express 22 production allocation will be reserved for direct consumer orders placed with One Horse. Dealer sales will open after the initial allocation has sold through, marking the second phase of the Express 22 rollout. This phased approach allows One Horse to serve early consumer demand directly while building dedicated inventory and sales support for its dealer partners.
Pricing, stock-keeping units, ordering information and consumer shipping dates will be announced by One Horse. Availability is subject to federal, state and local laws. All firearms will ship to licensed federal firearms dealers.
