Pietta Firearms, Inc., internationally recognized leader in single-action and black powder revolvers, announce the partnership with the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, along with the introduction of the ProRodeo Hall of Fame 1873 Black Powder Revolver – a firearm created to honor the legends, heritage, and enduring spirit of professional rodeo.
The commemorative revolver will make its official debut during the 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, July 18th at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Each HOF inductee will receive a one-of-a-kind presentation revolver, individually engraved with their name and rodeo discipline or service – a permanent tribute to lives spent earning a place among the greatest names in the sport. It's a piece worthy of the legacy it represents.

Produced in a deliberately limited edition, the Hall of Fame Revolver will also be available to collectors and enthusiasts. Chambered in .44 caliber, this classic 1873 black powder revolver features richly engraved leather-scroll artwork across the frame and cylinder, a color case-hardened frame and hammer, depictions of every PRCA rodeo event engraved around the cylinder, and premium walnut grips inlaid with the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and PRCA logos.
"We've always believed in supporting rodeo and rural America because these are the people who have supported us from the very beginning," said Alessandro Pietta. "To stand alongside the ProRodeo Hall of Fame is an incredible privilege. Knowing the names of men and women we've admired for years will be engraved on revolvers bearing our family name is something I never imagined. It is one of the greatest honors our company has ever received."
With a purposeful limited run, the overall goal of this partnership is to create a new revolver each year, with new designs that celebrate rodeo and the culture thereof. Nothing rings more true with rodeo fans, cowboys, the rural community and the American West like a "cowboy revolver", with this in mind the on-going partnership makes perfect sense for both Pietta and the ProRodeo Hall of Fame.
"The ProRodeo Hall of Fame is excited for this new partnership. Both the Hall of Fame and Pietta are dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of rodeo and the American cowboy," said Therese Cobb, Director of ProRodeo Hall of Fame. "The commemorative revolver is just the way to do that."
