Youth Shooting Team Coaches Invited to Attend MidwayUSA Foundation's National Youth Shooting Sports Conference This August

The nation's only Youth Shooting Sports Conference is happening August 20-22 in Columbia, Missouri. Hosted by MidwayUSA Foundation, this conference brings together outdoor industry professionals to expand their impact on youth shooting sports through education, networking, and collaboration. This year, youth shooting team coaches and team leaders are encouraged to attend to gain hands-on coaching tips from nationally recognized instructors and to participate in breakout sessions on funding their programs.

"It's exciting to expand this conference to more of the people that are making a difference on ranges across the country, and hosting this conference during NSSF's National Shooting Sports Month is icing on the cake," said MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, Pete Eisentrager.

In addition to informative presentations and breakout sessions, the conference will feature two range days. One at the Missouri Marksmanship Education Center, sponsored by Walther Arms and Marksmanship USA, and one at Prairie Grove Shooting Sports Complex, sponsored by Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation and Federal Ammunition. Range Days offer attendees hands-on training from former NSCA Chief Instructor Don Currie and Olympian James Hall. Attendees can try shotguns from a variety of companies, including Webley & Scott, Akkar, and SKB, then head to the rifle and pistol ranges to demo firearms from Tippman Arms, Walther Arms, and Mendoza Firearms, on SASP's Go Fast and Metal Madness targets. The range day will also feature American Outdoor Brands' unique clay copters, Caldwell Steel Targets, and Vamoose e-bikes.

"MidwayUSA Foundation has hosted a National Youth Shooting Sports Conference for over 10 years, and we think this could be the best year yet," added Sarah Hall, MidwayUSA Foundation Project and Events Manager. Outdoor industry professionals, youth shooting team leaders, shooting range professionals, and anyone passionate about growing youth shooting sports should plan to attend.
