KJI Launches an All-New Line of Multi-Purpose Tripods

MANSFIELD, TEXAS – KJI, a leader in mission-oriented shooting rests and tripod-mounted support systems, is proud to announce the launch of its all-new K-Series tripod lineup. Replacing the original K-700 and K-800 tripods, the new K-Series represents a complete modernization of KJI's shooting support platform, which offers a broader, stronger, and more adaptable family of tripods built for hunting, long-range shooting, competition, photography, and professional field use.

A Modernized K-Series Lineup

The new K-Series includes five purpose-built tripod models: the K950 Carbon Fiber Tripod, K920 Carbon Fiber Tripod, K750 Carbon Fiber Tripod, K700 V2 Aluminum Tripod, and K500 Aluminum Tripod. The model numbers serve as a clear indicator of tripod size within the lineup, with the K950 standing as the largest and most robust model and the K500 serving as the most compact tripod option. Together, the lineup gives shooters a clear path from lightweight field support to heavy-duty professional platforms capable of handling rifles, optics, thermal devices, night vision, rangefinding systems, and other precision shooting accessories.

Designed from the ground up, every K-Series tripod features KJI's new CNC-machined twist-lock system for smooth deployment and secure lockup in demanding conditions. With carbon-fiber and precision-machined aluminum construction options, hard-anodized components, three independent leg angles, interchangeable rubber and spike feet, and broad height ranges for standing, kneeling, seated, and prone shooting, the K-Series is built to provide a stable foundation across the full range of real-world shooting environments.

Replacing the Legacy K-700 and K-800

The original K-700 and K-800 helped establish KJI as a serious name in tripod-mounted shooting support. This new lineup takes that foundation and rebuilds it for today's shooters with stronger materials, better deployment, more model options, and full integration with the Reaper ecosystem.

K950 Carbon Fiber Tripod

At the top of the lineup, the K950 Carbon Fiber Tripod delivers ultra-heavy-duty capability for shooters who need maximum strength without abandoning portability. With a 170-lb. load capacity, 71.5-inch maximum height, 25.6-inch folded length, four-section carbon-fiber legs, and a 6.2-lb. total weight, the K950 is built for professional-grade rifles, heavy optics, and demanding field applications.

K920 Carbon Fiber Tripod

The K920 Carbon Fiber Tripod offers the same 170-lb. load capacity in a two-section carbon-fiber configuration designed for shooters who prioritize strength, simplicity, and fast deployment. With a 66.4-inch maximum height and 5.8-lb. weight, the K920 is well-suited for big-game hunters, law enforcement marksmen, and long-range shooters running heavier equipment in the field.

K750 Carbon Fiber Tripod

For shooters who want full-size performance in a lighter, more compact package, the K750 Carbon Fiber Tripod provides a 150-lb. load capacity at just 3.1 lbs. With a 56.3-inch maximum height, 3.5-inch minimum height, and 20.1-inch folded length, the K750 is designed for mobile hunters, precision rifle competitors, and backcountry shooters who need stability without unnecessary bulk.

K700 V2 Aluminum Tripod

The K700 V2 Aluminum Tripod brings the K-Series modernization to one of KJI's most recognizable tripod names. Unlike the legacy K-700, the new K700 V2 is a relaunched aluminum model with CNC-machined components, hard-anodized finishes, twist-lock legs, a 150-lb. load capacity, 56.3-inch maximum height, 3.5-inch minimum height, and a compact 20.1-inch folded length. At 3.9 lbs., it gives hunters, tactical shooters, and range users a rugged, adaptable platform at an accessible price point.

K500 Aluminum Tripod

Rounding out the tripod lineup, the K500 Aluminum Tripod offers compact stability for shooters who need a reliable platform without the extra weight of larger systems. With an 80-lb. load capacity, 53.9-inch maximum height, 3-inch minimum height, 19.1-inch folded length, and 3.1-lb. weight, the K500 is ideal for hunters, range shooters, and mobile users who want a streamlined tripod that still integrates with KJI's shooting support systems.

K100 Aluminum Monopod

For shooters and outdoor professionals who need an even more compact support option, KJI also offers the K100 Aluminum Monopod. Built from hard-anodized aluminum with precision CNC-machined components, the K100 delivers lightweight field stability in a one-leg platform designed for hunters, marksmen, glassing, spotting, camera support, and situations where a full tripod is not required. With five telescopic leg sections, a 70-inch maximum height, twist-lock adjustments, interchangeable rubber and spike feet, and a 15.43-lb. load capacity, the K100 extends the KJI support family into a fast, portable monopod format.

Full Reaper System Compatibility

All K-Series tripods are compatible with KJI's Reaper Grip, Reaper Rail, and ball head systems, giving shooters the ability to configure their platform for rifles, optics, observation equipment, and mission-specific accessories. Dual accessory mounts with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads provide additional flexibility for supporting a wide range of field equipment.

Built for Real-World Shooting Support

From the deer blind to the mountain ridge, the competition line, the tactical overwatch position, and even to the scenic overlook, the K-Series gives shooters a modern tripod platform engineered for stability where it matters most. Each model is designed to solve a specific field problem, whether that means reducing pack weight, increasing load capacity, improving terrain adaptability, or providing a stronger base for precision shooting systems. With the K100 Monopod rounding out the family, KJI now offers a complete range of modern field support options from compact monopod stability to full-size professional tripod performance.

About KJI: Founded in 2012, KJI's focus began with a "deer blind rifle rest." Scores of drawings, prototypes, and patents ultimately led the company into the uncharted territory of tripod-mounted gun rests, beginning with the Reaper Rest in 2014. Soon after, in 2015, KJI unveiled the Reaper Grip. Beginning in 2016, the Reaper Grip paved KJI's way to the top of multipurpose gun rest innovation. Since then, KJI's growth has positioned the company as the clear industry leader in mission-oriented gun rests for elite military units, competitive shooters, and hunting enthusiasts.
