Henry Repeating Arms has been nominated for a 2026 Wisconsin Governor's Outdoor Industry Award in the Outdoor Business of the Year category, presented by the Wisconsin Office of Outdoor Recreation.
Henry's connection to Wisconsin goes back to 1998, when its Rice Lake supplier relationship first began. Henry Repeating Arms Founder and CEO, Anthony Imperato, purchased the Rice Lake facility in 2006, retaining employees who would become the foundation of what is now a multi-facility manufacturing operation. In March 2025, Henry completed its transition to a fully Wisconsin-based company, consolidating all manufacturing operations from its former Bayonne, New Jersey, facility into approximately 400,000 square feet across four facilities in Rice Lake and Ladysmith.
"We put all of our eggs in the Wisconsin basket because we believed in this state, in our people here, and in what we could build together," said Imperato. "This nomination is a reflection of that commitment, and it belongs to everyone who shows up to work in Rice Lake and Ladysmith every day."
Henry produces its full line of rifles, shotguns, and revolvers in Wisconsin and backs every firearm with a lifetime warranty and Imperato's personal satisfaction guarantee. The company is the leading lever-action manufacturer in the United States.
The Wisconsin Governor's Outdoor Industry Awards recognize businesses, organizations, and individuals who contribute to the state's outdoor economy and traditions. Award recipients will be announced at the Wisconsin Executive Residence in Madison, Wisconsin, on June 24, 2026.
