EOTECH Launches Officer Involved Shooting (OIS) Optic Replacement Program

EOTECH is recognized worldwide for producing American-made optics trusted by U.S. military units and law enforcement agencies operating in the most demanding environments. Officers rely on their optics as mission-critical tools, particularly in high-risk encounters where clarity, reliability, and speed directly affect outcomes.

To further demonstrate its commitment to law enforcement, EOTECH is proud to announce the Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS) Optic Replacement Program. This initiative would provide an immediate, temporary replacement optic at no cost to any law enforcement agency whose issued EOTECH optic is removed from service as evidence following a verified OIS incident.

"This program positions EOTECH as the first optics manufacturer to formally and publicly support officers involved in critical incidents" said James Miksch, VP of Law Enforcement Sales. "This reinforces our company's standing as an American manufacturer that actively supports America's law enforcement community."

Agencies benefit in several ways. First, the officer receives the issued, or equivalent optic, which preserves training consistency and performance standards. Second, this program alleviates the department using emergency funds to purchase a replacement. Lastly, it provides the department time to recover the original equipment or plan for a replacement purchase.
