Celerant's 2026 Client Conference Unveils AI Tools, Compliance Strategy, and New Technology for Firearms Dealers

Iselin, NJ – Celerant Technology recently hosted its 2026 Client Conference in Dallas, Texas. The annual event, held in May at the Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort, brought together firearms retailers, distributors, manufacturers, compliance experts, and industry partners to focus on the practical technology needs and regulatory challenges facing today's gun dealers.

This year, Celerant introduced some of the largest product updates in its 26-year history. The company showcased Skylar IQ, a new AI-powered retail agent, alongside the Customer Engagement Suite (CES), which connects email, SMS, social media, reputation management, and live chat into one platform. Attendees also previewed a completely redesigned point of sale interface, a standalone downloadable POS application with updated hardware support, and new AI eCommerce features like Predictive Search and Recommended Products.

"This year's conference represented a major turning point not only for Celerant, but for the industry as a whole. The firearms retail market is evolving rapidly, and dealers need technology partners that understand compliance, operational complexity, inventory management and customer engagement at a very deep level. This year, we introduced some of the most significant innovations we've ever released, while also bringing together many of the industry's leading organizations to help dealers better navigate what's next." said Michele Salerno, Chief Growth Officer at Celerant Technology.

The event featured educational sessions and open workshops with established industry organizations, including SIG SAUER, Sports South, RSR Group, Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, NASGW, FastBound, FFL Guard, 4473 Cloud, Silencer Shop, Guns.com, OtterText, Quivers, FFL Consultants, and Project ChildSafe. New technology partners SlingIt and MasterFFL also joined the lineup.

Key firearms industry sessions included:

  • ATF Compliance Panel: Industry experts discussed the recent appointment of the new ATF Director, expected changes in enforcement, and how these regulatory shifts will impact federal firearms licensees (FFLs). The panel provided actionable advice to help dealers prepare for upcoming inspections and compliance audits.
  • NFA Products Session: Hosted by Silencer Shop, this session covered the growing NFA market. Speakers explained how more dealers are securing their Special Occupational Taxpayer (SOT) status to sell suppressors and accessories, helping them improve profit margins and meet local demand.
  • NASGW SCOPE CLX & VAULT Presentation: This presentation showed dealers how to use industry benchmark data to analyze inventory performance. It also introduced VAULT, an upcoming initiative built to serve as a centralized, manufacturer-verified source for firearms product data.

Celerant also partnered with the National Shooting Sports Foundation's Project ChildSafe program again this year. The collaboration focused on educating dealers on how to promote firearm safety and integrate charitable donation options directly into their Celerant POS and eCommerce checkout screens.

As the retail market changes, Celerant continues to build connected software that helps independent firearms dealers manage compliance, streamline their daily operations, and run profitable storefronts and websites.
