Walther Arms, Inc. Announces New Sales Manager for Dealer and Buying Group Channels

Walther Arms, Inc. (WAI), a leading manufacturer of premium firearms and a subsidiary of the PW Group, today announced the creation and staffing of a dedicated Sales Manager – Dealer/Buy Group position to further strengthen its sales strategies and drive growth in the U.S. shooting sports market.

The Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and play a pivotal role in executing WAI's sales strategies across dealer and buying group channels. This key position will focus on revenue growth, expanding market share, building strong customer relationships, and enhancing the Walther Premium Dealer Program through targeted account development, strategic partnerships, and consistent field engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing channel-specific sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
  • Managing key dealer and buying group accounts, including forecasting, account planning, and driving sell-through.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while representing Walther at trade shows, consumer events, and industry functions.
  • Delivering product training and support to dealers, sales representatives, and partners.
  • Collaborating with marketing, customer service, and other internal teams to align on promotions, product allocations, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading, coaching, and evaluating independent sales rep agencies to maximize performance.
  • Providing valuable market intelligence on product performance, competitive trends, dealer needs, and opportunities for new product development.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), a minimum of 4+ years in sales, and a strong background in the firearms or shooting sports industry. Expertise in retail programming, dealer networks, merchandising strategies, and Walther product knowledge is essential, along with proven leadership, relationship-building, and analytical skills. The role is based on-site at Walther's facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and requires frequent travel for dealer visits, events, and trade shows.
