TrueTimber, the world's best-selling camo brand, will return as the official camouflage sponsor of the 2026 Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt. The event will take place in El Dorado, Kansas on April 16-18. Upon arrival, all event attendees will receive a full set of TrueTimber high performance turkey hunting apparel to keep them concealed during the hunt. The attendee list includes TrueTimber team members and ambassador Rob Keck, along with several American heroes and youth hunters who will be turkey hunting for the first time.
The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt was founded in 2023 to honor the vision and ideas of former Governor Mike Hayden and former Executive Vice President of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce Marv McCown. In 1987, Hayden and McCown organized a turkey hunt that invited key professionals across various industries intending to elevate local business, Kansas outdoor resources and wild turkey conservation.
"The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt represents everything that makes this industry special—strong partnerships, time in the field and a commitment to conservation," said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. "We're excited to be back as the official camo sponsor and to see hunters putting our gear to work in a setting that truly matters."
The hunt days will occur on April 17th and 18th, both kicking off at the Butler Community Center. An evening event is planned on the 17th at the El Dorado Civic center for hunters, landowners, guides and sponsors, as well as weigh-ins scheduled the 18th. The event concludes with the Strutters Banquet & Auction on Saturday night, where the contest winner will be announced.
