
Dallas, TX — The Dallas Safari Club (DSC) is seeking a dynamic, organized, and mission-driven professional to join its team as a Membership & Volunteer Coordinator/Manager—a key leadership role focused on strengthening engagement, expanding participation, and enhancing the overall member and volunteer experience.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position serves as the central hub for both membership strategy and volunteer coordination. The role is responsible for developing and executing initiatives that support recruitment, retention, and engagement, while ensuring a seamless, mission-driven experience across all DSC programs, chapters, and events.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Leadership & Engagement
Lead membership recruitment, retention, and reactivation strategies aligned with DSC's conservation mission
Plan and execute membership campaigns, outreach efforts, and engagement events
Develop and implement strategic plans to grow and diversify DSC's membership base
Manage membership renewals, invoicing, and payment processes with accuracy
Maintain and oversee membership data integrity and reporting
Track key metrics and analyze engagement trends to inform strategy
Enhance member benefits, discounts, and value-added offerings
Serve as primary liaison to DSC Chapters for membership initiatives and communications
Volunteer Relations (DSC 100 Volunteers)
Lead recruitment, training, and engagement efforts for DSC's volunteer program
Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers during the DSC Convention and Summer Expo
Coordinate volunteer-related events, communications, and engagement initiatives
Manage volunteer registration systems and communications
Develop and distribute resources and training materials for volunteer leaders and committee chairs
Additional Responsibilities
Support and participate in DSC member activities, conservation programs, and special events
Represent DSC at select conservation, hunting, and outdoor industry events
Assist with circulation and distribution of Game Trails magazine and Camp Talk newsletter
Contribute to organizational initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in membership management, volunteer coordination, or related roles preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong project, event, and campaign management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM or membership database systems

Travel
Willingness to travel and represent DSC at events as needed
