Brownells Launches Global Division

Brownells today announced the launch of 2nd Adventure Global Solutions, a new division focused on helping manufacturers expand into international markets without the regulatory burden typically required for global operations.

As global demand for U.S. outdoor and tactical products continues to rise, manufacturers must look beyond domestic markets to scale. Export compliance, logistics, and market access remain major barriers. 2nd Adventure Global Solutions removes that friction by managing compliance, distribution, and market access across business-to-business, direct-to-consumer ecommerce, and government channels.

Built on more than 80 years of Brownells' experience and over 30 years of exporting to Europe, including long-standing operations in key European markets, 2nd Adventure Global Solutions supports nearly 600 direct brands, and many more with in-country brand distributors to roughly 65 countries. The division takes what already works in the U.S. market and scales it internationally through established retail, digital, and government networks.

Brownells hired Casey Betzold in June 2025 to lead the effort. A USAF veteran with over 20 years of industry and international experience, Betzold has worked with hundreds of brands to expand their reach globally. He also oversees the Valor program, supporting law enforcement and government customers with curated product solutions.

"We know what works in the U.S., and we are taking that same playbook global," said Pete Brownell, CEO of Brownells. "Manufacturers need growth beyond domestic markets, but most do not want to take on the complexity that comes with export. We built this to solve that problem."

2nd Adventure Global Solutions gives manufacturers a direct path to international markets by combining distribution, ecommerce, and in-country government engagement, allowing brands to grow faster while remaining compliant.

The launch reflects a broader shift as U.S. manufacturers look to international markets to drive growth while navigating increasing regulatory complexity. The division is expanding its presence in Australia, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, building on Brownells' long-established European business.
