Parkwest Arms Completes Successful 2026 Show Season

Parkwest Arms, a world-renowned custom rifle maker based in Sturgis, South Dakota, wrapped up its 2026 show season with successful appearances at three of the hunting industry's most prestigious events, connecting with hundreds of hunters, outfitters, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The 2026 show circuit included:

  • Texas Trophy Hunters Association Outdoors Extravaganza – Dallas, Texas (January 9-11)
  • Dallas Safari Club Convention & Expo – Atlanta, Georgia (February 6-8)
  • Safari Club International Convention – Nashville, Tennessee (February 18-21)

"These three shows represent the heart of the serious hunting community," said Steve Rabackoff, Co-Owner of Parkwest Arms. "We're honored to be part of these events and grateful for the opportunity to meet face-to-face with hunters who appreciate the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every rifle we build."

SHOWCASING AMERICAN RIFLE MAKING TRADITION

At each event, Parkwest Arms displayed its complete line of custom rifles, including:

  • SD-76 rifle family (Dark Continent, Savanna, Legend, Alpine, Bushveld)
  • SD-97 Rifle
  • SD-10 Single Shot Rifle
  • SD-Sharps Falling Block Rifles
  • SD-22 Long Rifle

The company also demonstrated its custom metal finishing services, including traditional (bone and charcoal) color case hardening, rust bluing, bluing, and Cerakote applications, along with custom stock work and hand engraving.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH HUNTERS

"The most rewarding part of attending these shows isn't just showcasing our rifles—it's the relationships we build," explained Tim Land, Co-Owner of Parkwest Arms. "We met hunters planning their first African safari, hunts throughout North America and around the world, experienced PHs looking for reliable dangerous game rifles, and collectors who appreciate fine American craftsmanship. Every conversation reinforces why we do what we do."

Parkwest Arms reported strong interest in custom builds across all rifle lines, with enthusiasm for dangerous game configurations and all-weather rifles designed for extreme hunting conditions.
