
Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP), a leading provider of law enforcement equipment and tactical training, has hired Eric Alexander as the new Director of Sales for the Midsouth US region. Alexander will be responsible for law enforcement agency and distributor relationships in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. He will also manage ASP's distributor relationships in Asia.
Mr. Alexander comes to the company with a strong public-sector background and high-performance leadership experience. Prior to joining ASP, he worked in the commercial insurance industry, dealing closely with municipalities and public entities. He holds a bachelor's degree and MBA from Louisiana State University, where he also excelled on the football field, including LSU's 2003 National Championship run. He then played seven seasons in the National Football League, including six with the New England Patriots, winning Super Bowl XXXIX.
Armament Systems' Vice President of Sales, Daryell Harmon, says that Alexander is a welcome addition to the company's team, saying that "Eric has an exceptional track record, and possesses both the customer relationship skills and the leadership bearing that our sales team prides itself on."
Alexander resides in New Orleans, which will be his base of operations in his new role at ASP.
