The Gulf Council Seeks an Administrative Assistant

The Gulf Council is currently accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant.

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative services for the overall operations of the Council. The candidate will be expected to attend various meetings and ensure that meeting materials, equipment, and supplies are available and operational. Travel to meetings throughout the Gulf states may be required for up to one week at a time. Other duties include proofreading and formatting technical documents; and managing content on the Council website.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma with a minimum of five years of administrative support experience or three years of administrative support experience with additional college or business training. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot office equipment and software issues under pressure. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Word skills, with accurate keyboarding skills and advanced experience working with Adobe Acrobat. Preferred applicants will have website content management skills, meeting and travel planning, or virtual and on-site meeting management experience. Travel to meetings throughout the Gulf states may be required for up to one week at a time.
