Legendary callmakers and co-founders of Knight & Hale Game Calls, Harold Knight and David Hale, were honored alongside fellow Grand National Championship Hall of Fame members during a special ring presentation during the 50th Anniversary Convention of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF).
The ceremony, held on Saturday, February 14, celebrated the Grand National Calling Championships Hall of Fame—an institution recognizing the individuals who have shaped the sport, elevated calling excellence, and advanced the mission of conservation through their lifelong dedication.
Knight and Hale, whose influence spans more than 50 years, are recognized not only for their innovations in game call design but also for their profound impact on generations of hunters, callers, and conservationists. Their leadership, mentorship, and authenticity have made them enduring icons within the outdoor community.
The 50th anniversary celebration brought together past champions, industry leaders, and longtime supporters to honor all the individuals who have shaped the Grand National stage into the premier calling competition it is today.
