Grid Iron Defense Symposium Unites NFL Leaders and Defense Innovators for Private National Security Forum

Ft. Lauderdale, FL – The Inaugural Grid Iron Defense Symposium will convene March 13 as a private, invitation-only forum bringing together elite NFL athletes, military operators, and defense technology leaders for a focused exchange on leadership, readiness, and emerging capabilities.

Designed as an immersive, closed-door experience, the Symposium will feature live demonstrations, candid operator-athlete discussions, and hands-on showcases of next-generation systems shaping modern training and operational performance. The event creates a high-trust environment where leaders from sport and service can share lessons learned, evaluate innovation in real-world contexts, and strengthen relationships that support national readiness.

"Elite performers — whether on the field or in uniform — prepare for decisive moments," said Jordan Zumwalt, former NFL Athlete and Grid Iron Defense Symposium Founder. "This Symposium provides a serious setting to exchange insight, examine advancing technologies, and reinforce the network backing those who serve."

Participating industry leaders include Darley, Chariot Defense, MVP Robotics, Safe Haven Defense, LOCH TECHNOLOGIES, Kägwerks, Outplay, Pixels on Target, Tandem Defense, Drone Round, Radical Defense, and Life Lens Tech, plus many more.

Proceeds from the Symposium benefit leading nonprofits supporting the health and resilience of U.S. service members, veterans, and their families, including the Boulder Crest Foundation, the Navy SEAL Foundation, and the Green Beret Foundation.
