Springfield, VA – Gun Owners of America (GOA) is proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Gun Owners Advocacy and Leadership Summit (GOALS), taking place August 1–2 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
GOALS 2026 is the premier gathering for grassroots activists, Second Amendment advocates, industry leaders, and freedom-minded Americans from across the country. This year's summit will feature 150,000 square feet of the top guns and gear in the Iowa Events Center's expansive exhibition hall, hands-on training sessions, legal briefings, and powerhouse speakers—all united by one mission: defending the right to keep and bear arms without compromise.
Attendees will hear directly from national leaders, engage with top constitutional scholars and policy experts, and connect with thousands of like-minded patriots who are actively shaping the future of the Second Amendment movement.
This year's GOALS will be even bigger as Gun Owners of America celebrates our 50th anniversary, marking five decades of uncompromising advocacy for the Second Amendment. Since its founding in 1976, GOA has been at the forefront of the fight to protect Americans' constitutional rights through grassroots activism, legislative battles, and unwavering commitment to principle. GOALS 2026 will honor that legacy while energizing the next generation of patriots to carry the mission forward.
Erich Pratt, Senior Vice President of Gun Owners of America, issued the following statement: "GOALS is not just another expo. It is a celebration of the Second Amendment that empowers our members to be bolder and stronger in our mission. It is about connecting the Second Amendment community in ways that make a real impact."
Kailey Nieman, Director of Development and Marketing of Gun Owners of America, issued the following statement: "We are very proud of the success that GOALS has had, and we are just getting started. This year, we are not just celebrating 50 years of GOA, we are celebrating the gun owners who have allowed us to fight alongside them. We can't wait to welcome our members to Des Moines."
Early registration is strongly encouraged. Additional speaker announcements and event details will be released in the coming weeks.
