The Razor X-TRM Digital Muffs introduce MAHP™ (Motion Activated Hearing Protection), a "shake awake" activation system that automatically powers the digital muffs on when micro-movements are detected. MAHP instantly pre-loads the suppression circuit to deliver near-instant protection against harmful impulse noise, even in fast, unpredictable shooting environments, eliminating manual power-up delays and conserving battery life when the muffs are idle.
Under fire, Active Dynamic Sound Suppression automatically compresses sound based on impulse intensity for consistent, reliable protection. At the same time, wind-noise reduction algorithms stabilize audio in open and windy conditions, keeping distractions to a minimum. Advanced digital signal processing provides clear, natural audio with no latency drift, while dual hi-gain omnidirectional microphones preserve directional awareness and critical range commands.
Housed in an ultra-low-profile chassis with full rubberized armor, the muffs are built to withstand impacts, abrasions, and the elements. They also feature a breathable mesh load-bearing headband, GEL earpads, and automatic power-down capabilities after extended idle time.
