At Magpul, we're constantly working to push the limits of design and innovation while keeping products affordable. Case in point: the AMAG 15 SG9 for the popular SIG P365 pistol. The AMAG 15 SG9 is the newest addition to the AMAG line of alloy magazines specifically for firearms that dimensionally can't accept polymer mags.
The compact AMAG 15 SG9 is a 9mm, 15-round metal magazine with numerous high-quality features and it comes at a competitive price. It balances capacity with concealment, giving shooters a longer grip while keeping the slim profile of the P365 to minimize printing and to ease concealment. The AMAG 15 offers reliable, proven upgrades, including a high-visibility, controlled-tilt follower, and a stainless-steel spring for longevity and durability. The magazine features a stainless-steel body, a flared, removable floorplate for cleaning and routine maintenance, and a paint-pen dot matrix for magazine marking. The spine of the magazine gives capacity-indicator windows starting at five rounds and continues to 15 rounds in one-round increments.
The new AMAG 15 includes grip extensions, allowing the mag to run reliably in P365 X/XL and Standard/Micro grip lengths. It also has a standard floorplate for the Macro, allowing perfect fit and function in all P365 pistols, and enhancing a comfortable shooting experience in even the smallest-framed P365. The extensions attach to the bottom of the grip via a lock plate, located between the follower and the floorplate, to minimize pinch points often caused by the typical "sleeve" style extensions.
The AMAG 15 joins its recently-released big brother, the AMAG 17 SG9, a larger 17-round magazine, designed to carry more rounds and to give the P365 a full-sized grip. More variants of P365 AMAGs are coming soon in 12- and 10-round versions scheduled for February 2026, offering many of the same AMAG features, but optimized for improved concealment.
