Leupold Announces New Storm Warden Rain Jacket and Rain Pant

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world's most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce the launch of its new, high-end rainwear: the Storm Warden Rain Jacket and Storm Warden Rain Pant.

Designed for those that stay out when the storm rolls in, the complete Storm Warden line is a waterproof, breathable, and lightweight rain system that is built for wet weather. When the elements turn hostile, the Storm Warden Rain Gear System holds the line. This hard-charging, fully waterproof, windproof, and lightweight shell system delivers stretch where you need it while locking out wind and rain, so you'll stay warm, dry, and focused on the mission.

"You can't control the weather, but you can control the gear that you're counting on to keep you dry," said Evietta Chapman, Apparel Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "The Storm Warden Rain Gear System is a premium line of rainwear that's designed to perform through the very worst of what Mother Nature might throw at you."

Built for long, wet days in the field, the Storm Warden Rain Jacket combines StormShield technology with a 70D nylon-spandex face for complete waterproof and breathable protection. The 2-point adjustable hood and hem seal out the elements, while raised hand pockets sit clear of your pack belt. Durable YKK AquaGuard zippers deliver smooth reliability while strategic venting helps dump heat fast while on the move. From hood to hem, every detail is engineered for total protection and unrestricted movement, whether you're glassing in a downpour or pushing through soaked brush.

A durable 70D nylon/spandex face combined with StormShield waterproof and breathable protection keeps you moving without overheating while wearing the Storm Warden Rain Pant. The elastic waist with built-in belt locks in your fit while a boot hook and reinforced hem secure the cuffs and blocks out debris across any terrain. The construction of the Rain Pant allows the waist to stretch over your pants without issue to support easy movement, while the front remains flat and ensures there's no excess bagging of material. Rugged YKK AquaGuard zippers deliver smooth, reliable performance, while full-length side zips allow quick ventilation or easy on/off layering—so you never have to stop to shed layers.

"Our StormShield technology plays a big role in making the Storm Warden system a top-end rainwear," Chapman said. "It provides elite waterproof protection and breathability–both rated up to 20K–to keep you dry and comfortable in the field. This isn't just another set of rain gear. It's a top-of-the-line system that will perform when you need it most."

The Storm Warden Rain Jacket ($299.99) and Storm Warden Rain Pant ($274.99) are sold separately. Both are available in sizes ranging from Small to 3XL.
