Heckler & Koch USA is excited to announce yet another expansion of the growing VP9 A1 pistol line. The six new "Tactical" models come with threaded barrels, suppressor-height sights and all the A1 updates of the VP9 A1 launched in 2025.
The new models include: VP9 A1 "K" Kompact – optics-ready, VP9 A1 "K" – optics-equipped with Vortex CCW enclosed emitter, VP9 A1 "F" Full size – optics ready, VP9 A1 "F" - optics-equipped with Vortex CCW enclosed emitter, VP9 A1 "X" Crossover – optics-ready and VP9 A1 "X" optics-equipped with Vortex CCW enclosed emitter.
"The VP9A1 Tactical models expand upon the best polymer pistol on the market. The factory-threaded barrel facilitates the mounting of suppressors, muzzle devices, and other accessories, said Nathan Schueth, Director of Sales & Business Development. "Further, the new Tactical sizes of the K, X, and F allow for a customer to optimize their pistol platform for their intended usage."
For reference, The "K" model features 4.7-inch threaded barrel and a compact 15-round frame. The "F" model features a 5.2-inch threaded barrel and a full-size 17-round frame. The "X" is a crossover of the two, with the shorter 4.7-inch barrel of the "K" and the full-size 17-round frame of the "F".
All four "K" and "X" tactical models are in stock and available for immediate shipment. "F" models are expected later in the first half of 2026.
