Will open to the General Public this Spring
Lynchburg, VA -- Interest in Liberty University’s new shooting facility, Liberty Mountain Gun Club, ran high from the moment the project was announced. It has continued to grow since the range has taken shape. Now, the range is open for use by Liberty students and many are taking advantage.
Construction continues at the range and student gun enthusiasts are very pleased with the sections that are now open. They are eager to see the entire completed project. Open hours for the general public will begin sometime after the 1st of June.
Liberty Mountain Gun Club is a multi-venue shooting sports facility, located on the campus grounds of Liberty University. Phase I shooting venues include: A 100/200/300 Rifle Range and expansive 50 meter deep, 3 Gun/Pistol run, as well a championship archery range and 3D archery course. Phase II, coming this year, includes 2 fully functioning Neil Chadwick designed 15-station Sporting Clays courses, and a large, classic “hunting lodge” structure located behind the shotgun arena venues.
