Whitetails Unlimited recently awarded a $3,000 grant to the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers. AGLOW is a non-profit, professional organization of outdoor communicators, and is one of the largest and most active organizations of its kind in the country. The group was founded in 1956, making it one of the oldest outdoor communications associations in the country. It is also the fastest growing regional outdoor writer group in the country with members in 26 states.
AGLOW will be hosting their annual conference in Bismarck, North Dakota September 10-13, 2018. This gives writers, bloggers, photographers, radio and TV personalities from all over the region a chance to network and share ideas.
“This group is comprised of the men and women who provide us with the information needed to be better ministers of the outdoors,” says Whitetails Unlimited Program Services Director Russ Austad. “They have an extremely important job and should be supported in their efforts.”
