Baron Technology’s David Miles Elected to Hunting Heritage Trust BOD

David Miles, President of Baron Technology, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Hunting Heritage Trust.

An active and highly respected member of the hunting and shooting sports community and life-long conservationist , Miles was elected unanimously to the Hunting Heritage Trust Board position.

“Dave Miles is well known in our industry for his broad-based knowledge of firearms, hunting, and conservation and for his spirited and selfless approach to industry opportunities and challenges,” commented Bob Delfay, President of the Hunting Heritage Trust. “The Trust is very fortunate to welcome Dave to its Board of Directors.”

Miles began his career in the shooting sports industry with Baron Technology in the early 1990’s and was later recruited by the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). He joined the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) in 2001 as a marketing specialist and partnership-development coordinator.

Dave left NSSF in 2012 to accept the position of Marketing Director at Mossberg. In late 2017, he was recruited back to Baron Technology as President by Baron CEO, David Baron.

"I have been familiar with the Hunting Heritage Trust since it was founded as the Hunting and Shooting Sports Heritage Trust in 2002 and I am honored and excited to be elected to the Board”, Miles said. “I know most of the current Board members personally and professionally and I very much look forward to working alongside them in efforts to enhance our hunting and shooting sports heritage.”

The Heritage Trust’s mission is to provide the framework through which the commitment and financial contributions of dedicated hunters and shooters can be channeled into short-term action and long-term endowments in support of innovative programs and strategic actions that will help perpetuate America’s hunting and shooting sports heritage. The Trust has awarded some 20 grants in recent years and is reviewing plans for a major round of new funding over the next few months.
