Travis Holeman Joins "Chasin' the Sun" TV as Co-Host

For Show's Upcoming Third Season

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Visit Panama City Beach is pleased to announce that Travis Holeman has joined its award-winning television series, "Chasin' The Sun," as co-host of its third season. New episodes will premiere on Saturday, January 6, 2018 on Discovery Channel.

"Chasin' The Sun" is a fishing and coastal lifestyle television program that showcases the diverse angling, diving, and cultural opportunities found among the emerald green waters of Panama City Beach. Justin Leake will return to the show to co-host with Capt. Holeman.

"We're thrilled to have Travis on board for what promises to be our biggest and best season of 'Chasin' The Sun' yet," says J. Michael Brown, Vice President of Tourist Development at Visit Panama City Beach. "Travis is very popular in the sportfishing world and a familiar face to fans of outdoor television, so we're excited to bring his unique perspective and 'full speed ahead' personality to the show."

Capt. Holeman owns and operates Key West Angling, a charter service based in the Florida Keys. Since 2000, he has devoted his life to his passion for fishing, through which he has become a championship angler and one of the country's most sought after guides. Travis began his career on the ESPN Redfish Cup circuit where angling success led to regular guest appearances on "ESPN Outdoors Saltwater Series" and "Madfin Shark Series," as well as appearances on Spanish Fly TV, Sport Fishing Television and other shows. Holeman has guided numerous International Game Fish Association world records and serves on the advisory board of the José Wejebe Spanish Fly Memorial Foundation and as an ambassador for Captains For Clean Water.

"I'm honored to join the show and pleased to be linking up with Justin Leake," says Holeman. "I have a lot of respect for his local knowledge and I think our personalities are a great match. We had a lot of fun exploring the beautiful and bountiful waters around Panama City Beach."

"Chasin' The Sun" will air weekly on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. Discovery Channel reaches nearly 100 million U.S. households.
