Triple N Ranch Shooting Range grand opening set for Saturday

Free opportunities to enjoy supervised target shooting are available to the public during the Triple N Ranch Shooting Range's grand opening Saturday, Nov. 18. The new range, located south of Kissimmee/St. Cloud in Osceola County, features a 19-station sporting clays course and multiple-position rifle and handgun ranges.

"The Triple N Ranch Shooting Range was developed to accommodate the growing demand for facilities where people can safely enjoy target shooting," said Fred Hawkins, Jr., vice chairman of the Osceola County Commission. "Located next to Forever Florida, this public shooting range adds another exciting recreational opportunity in our county. The grand opening celebration is the perfect chance for residents to familiarize themselves with this awesome facility and experience the fun of target shooting firsthand."

Special grand opening opportunities for the public include free access to the rifle and handgun ranges and up to 50 rounds of sporting clays. The gates open Saturday, Nov. 18, at 9 a.m. and the grand opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m., immediately followed by a trick shooting exhibition by the Gould Brothers. Those planning to enjoy target shooting must provide their own firearms and ammunition and complete a shooting range safety orientation.

The Triple N Ranch Shooting Range is located at 595 Donovan Crews Road in St. Cloud. The range was established by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) in partnership with Osceola County using Wildlife Restoration Program funds. Additional support and funding was provided by Osceola County, the National Rifle Association, and the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida.
"Thanks to the forward-thinking of the Osceola County Commission, the area has a wonderful new facility that will safely support the needs of recreational target shooters, hunters and hunter safety students," said Nick Wiley, executive director of the FWC.
