SPARTA, IL – Zanders Sporting Goods, a national distributor located in Sparta, Illinois, has hired Steven Walsh as the newest addition to their sales team.

Steven grew up in the firearm industry, helping out in his father's gun shop since the age of 14. After getting his associate's degree in criminal justice, Steven graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sociology.

Upon graduating, Steven continued to work in the family business until he was hired by Zanders. "When I heard that Zanders was hiring, I knew working for them could be a very fulfilling career choice as well as something I would be very passionate about," Steven remarked. "Being an outdoorsman, I strongly believe in tradition and heritage and Zanders is a company that is steeped in a rich, family heritage. Steven and his family enjoy spending their free time doing activities such as camping, hunting, fishing and barbecuing.
