West Springfield, MA – Proudly exhibiting at SHOT for their 13th year, TROY launches their all-new, exclusive SOCC (Special Operations Compatible Carbines) firearms and weapons upgrades in Booth #20505. Lightweight and ultra-low profile, the SOCC line was developed specifically for today's war fighters and led by Special Operations in-field requirements for performance, accuracy, durability and safety.
The SOCC debuts in 7.5" PDW, 10.5 " CQB and 14.5" Carbine lengths (MSRP $1,599 for all models), each loaded with all new features including the narrow, sleek TROY SOCC BattleRail with M-LOK® cooling holes (MSRP $163-209) for a snag-free profile that provides exceptional balance and controllability. Iconic TROY BattleSights™ have been redesigned with operator input; the SOCC front and rear folding BattleSights are 45% lower in profile while still positioned at exact factory height (MSRP $99-109).
The TROY SOCC Carbine is equipped with the new Airborne stock (MSRP $199), designed to add needed reinforcement and strength to a standard M4 buffer tube at its weakest point. Shorter than a traditional stock when collapsed, it offers a greater length of pull (full 14") when extended. Quickly engaged, the rods can be installed two ways – rapid deployment or 4-position capability. There's a clear difference in the new SOCC BattleMag (MSRP $14.95); now manufactured in 30 round, translucent polymer to rapidly determine round count from all views with TROY's trademark reliability, durability and consistency.
No detail was overlooked – each SOCC firearm features an ultra compact Tomahawk stock or the new TROY Airborne Stock and the unique, canted angle design of the new SOCC Safety Selector (MSRP $49-69 including ambi and full auto choices) provides increased accessibility, faster controllability and greater safety for the shooter using these PDW-style stocks. The new SOCC charging handles (85-109 with ambi and 308 choices) have extended latches for fluid, fast ease of use and are constructed from hardened steel for durability and reliability. The stem is dry film lubricated for protection, wear life and cleaning.
