New Calibers for War Sport LVOA Line Launching at NSSF SHOT Show 2017

Company adds to its popular flagship LVOA group with larger-caliber options, three 9mm configurations

EAGLE SPRINGS, NC  — War Sport customers have continually asked for a .308-caliber version of our flagship LVOA. Wish granted… and then some.

War Sport is launching new LVOA firearms at NSSF SHOT Show 2017, Jan. 17-20, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas:

• War Sport LVOA-HC (High Caliber)—A customer desire is now reality! The War Sport LVOA-HC comes in two calibers, including the coveted .308/7.62 NATO and 6.5 Creedmoor. And both have the same unique style and features of our other LVOA firearms.


• War Sport LVOA-9—The cool factor of shooting a 9mm just got cooler. Our LVOA rail is now available in three 9mm configurations: LVOA SBR (8.75-inch War Sport barrel); LVOA Carbine (16-inch War Sport barrel); and LVOA Pistol (8.75-inch War Sport barrel).

All War Sport LVOA firearms now include the new Magpul M-LOK® rail design. The M-LOK® can accept a suppressor and is lighter than the standard rail—which means you can shoot longer with less fatigue. The lighter rail results in better balance and less muzzle weight, generating faster reaction times.

SHOT Show attendees can visit booth 15834 on Level 2 starting Tuesday, Jan. 17, to handle the new War Sport LVOA firearms. But that's not all. SHOT Show is the launching pad for two new products in addition to the new LVOAs:

• War Sport GPR-HC (High Caliber)—Made for the serious hunter, the War Sport GPR-HC AR-10 style rifle provides greater accuracy across longer distances. The firearm is chambered in two calibers: .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. It has a billet upper and lower receiver with a newly enhanced War Sport muzzle brake that tames recoil and virtually eliminates muzzle rise. Each rifle includes a War Sport-made barrel in 18-, 20- and 22-inch lengths.
  One SHOT Show attendee will win a custom color War Sport GPR-HC by entering a drawing at War Sport booth 15834. The winner will be announced after the show.


• War Sport WS-9—Serious shooters can choose from three configurations—all chambered in 9mm and using Glock-type magazines. Every model is constructed from American-made parts that include an enhanced trigger, short throw selector and War Sport muzzle device.
