San Antonio, TX – Tecomate Holdings, LLC recently named industry veteran, Mike Walston, as their new Sr. Vice President of Sales. Walston, with over 20 years of experience in executive level positions within the Outdoor Industry, will be responsible for sales, marketing, customer management, business development and category expansion. Tecomate Holdings, is the parent company of Tecomate Wildlife Systems, Tecomate Properties, Nature Blinds, Wicked Tree Gear, Glacier Coolers and the popular TV program, Bucks of Tecomate.

"This is a great opportunity that I'm excited to take on," said Walston. "There is a great team in place at Tecomate that is eager to learn and expand the Tecomate brands within the industry. Tecomate's extensive manufacturing and design capabilities will offer many diversification possibilities in the future."

Early on, Walston's primary goals will include building on the current infrastructure and bringing the current brands together to solidify their positioning within the industry. While Wicked Tree Gear was an early 2016 acquisition, both Nature Blinds and Glacier Coolers are recent acquisitions for Tecomate Holdings, which are quickly being integrated into the brand family.

"Then, looking long term, we will need to continue to focus on consistently building high quality products, providing superior customer relations, and leading our product categories," said Walston. "We will be working with existing and future customers to continue to build a foundation of growth."

In 2017, Walston will also be running for a seat on the ATA Board of Directors, a position he has held earlier in his career.
