New Hampshire Fall Hunting and Fishing Expo

CONCORD, N.H. -- Get set for the fall hunting and fishing seasons at a big New Hampshire Sporting Expo at Bass Pro Shops in Hooksett, N.H., on Sunday, September 18, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The Expo will feature dozens of local hunting and fishing-related businesses, from gear to guides, as well as an appearance by Hunt Masters Gregg Ritz, who will also be hosting a seminar and archery demonstrations. NH Lottery will be promoting the new Bass Pro Shops lottery scratch ticket, with free giveaways and chances to win Bass Pro Shops gift cards. There will be a live radio feed provided by Manchester Radio Group and plenty of giveaways and raffles from Bass Pro Shops and other vendors.

"We're delighted that Bass Pro Shops is hosting the Expo as part of New Hampshire's celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Week," said Mark Beauchesne, Advertising and Promotions Coordinator for the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. "This is a great chance to get revved up for the upcoming seasons."

Stop by the N.H. Fish and Game Department booth at the Expo to get your hunting and fishing questions answered. The Department's Operation Game Thief traveling exhibit will be displayed, and the now-famous Locked Moose Antler exhibit "Forever Locked" will be on view at ground level in its original presentation format.

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire, Fish and Game's nonprofit partner, will host a special raffle benefiting the Foundation, with many great sporting prizes.

The Bass Pro Shops Sporting Expo will include many demonstrations and hands-on activities, including:

30 ft. kayak pool
Putting green with Hooksett Kiwanis
