The 2016 USPSA Hornady Area 3 Championship saw America's best competitive pistol shooters meet July 28-31 at Heartland Public Shooting Park in Nebraska. Team MGM again showed its strength with multiple top finishes including three division wins.

Nine divisions of over 300 shooters took on 12 challenging stages which demanded concentration and precision shooting
MGM shooter Manny Bragg won the overall event, followed by Kincaid Ross with the win in Open and 2nd overall. Veteran champion Eddie Garcia was a close second in Open, less than a half percentage point behind Ross. Chris Oosthuisen, Mike O'leary and Dex Bradley locked up 3, 4 and 5 spots respectively in Open division.

Bragg also claimed victory in Limited division with MGM teammates Travis Tomasi in 4th and Nate Staskiewicz in 8th place.
Champion shooter, Max Michel won the Carry Optics division.
