Fort Worth, TX - Winchester Safes, the fastest growing US-made gun safe manufacturer, announces the launch of its first official social media presence with a campaign and photo contest as the brand continues to focus on conversations with its customers.

The "What Do You Keep Safe in Your Winchester?" social campaign and contest invites participants to submit photos and stories behind the most prized possessions locked inside their Winchester safe. Submissions may be shared on Winchester Safes' social media, and one participant will win a 150th Anniversary Limited Edition Winchester Safe.

The move to launch social media presence comes as part of Winchester Safes' strategy to build relationships with current and potential customers and to educate consumers about gun safes, real fire and burglary protection and provide additional support and information to millions of Winchester safe owners.

"As an established and iconic brand like Winchester, how do you launch social media for the first time in 2016?" Winchester Safes CEO Kyle Walters asked. "We felt it wasn't enough to simply 'turn the lights on,' so we approached it with a video short story that many of us can relate to: a member of the family who is reluctant to adopt modern technology – until he is convinced by a pressing catalyst to change his stance."

The deadline to enter the "What Do You Keep Safe in Your Winchester?" contest is Friday, July 8, 2016.
