SPARTA, IL. – Zanders Sporting Goods, a national distributor located in Sparta, Illinois, has hired Josh Roetemeyer as the newest addition to their purchasing team. A native of southern Illinois, Josh is a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys bow and gun hunting, fishing, and golf.
Josh has an extensive background in sales and is very knowledgeable in the outdoors industry. His roles as a sales and regional manager for companies like Cabela's and TruGlo, respectively, have given Josh the experience and product knowledge that make him a great addition to the Zanders team.
"I just love working with people and sharing the knowledge I have. The hunting/shooting sports industry is all about having a good time on the water or in the woods," Josh commented.
Josh's later experience with Outtech helped him hone his customer service skills even further. "My goal with each and every meeting was to let retailers know that I would be there for them to help with any of their needs or concerns."
When asked about his decision to apply at Zanders, Josh credits his previous business relationships as the driving force. "I knew people who worked here and based on my conversations with them, it sounded like Zanders was a great place to work."
He continued by saying that Zanders has a "very friendly atmosphere with a lot of really nice, hard-working people. You're treated like part of the family here which speaks a lot about the type of company that Zanders is. I'm really happy and excited to be a part of the Zanders team."
