GROESBECK, Texas – With Brian "Pigman" Quaca's hunt schedule thrown off by his accident last winter and then the torrential Texan rains, he reviews the mountains of requests to hunt with him on Facebook to see if there are any gems on this episode of Pigman: The Series. The folks at South Texas Hunting Outfitters invite him down, and Pigman wonders what awaits him at this South Texas ranch. Will it be a hunting paradise, or an online hoax? Pigman is cautious as he meet Haiden and Lee, guides for South Texas Hunting Outfitters in Corpus Christie, Texas. "I was pig hunting before Haiden was born. But it seems he knows what he's talking about. So if he can dial in a nice bowhunting setup for big pigs, we aren't going to have a problem with my gun killing anything," said Quaca.
Unfortunately, the first three spots Haiden puts Pigman in have an ROI of zero. "With 90 percent humidity and 90 degrees and then this lush grass thanks to all the rain, the pigs are full and not moving. Much less moving to the corn feeder," stated Quaca.
The team switches tactics and head out on a night hunt thanks to their night vision binos from ATN Corp. But the first two shots at big hogs leaves Pigman confused as to why he didn't connect.
